Who is Santa Fe Youth Soccer?
We are a developmental soccer club based in Santa Fe, Texas with an aim to build players in a team environment. Registration is open to all players within our in-house teams age range and select teams that will be forming for Spring 2024.

Where will practices be held?
RJ Wollam Elementary, 3400 Avenue S, Santa Fe, Tx 77510

Where will recreation games be held?
RJ Wollam Elementary, 3400 Avenue S, Santa Fe, Tx 77510

Who will be our team coach?
Parent or Volunteer (2 would be best to share duties).

Does parent coach need to have a coaching license?
Recommended, FREE online introductory level at the least, offered through US Soccer.

When will teams be announced for Spring 2024 season?
late – February 2024

When will practices officially begin for Spring 2024 season?
Practice can begin as soon as coaches receive team rosters, planning for late – February.

When are the games for Spring 2024 season?
Most likely Thursday (make-up/weather Saturday’s). Exact dates will be announced after teams selected.

Is the in-house league competitive?
Club will do its best to balance teams so games can be competitive.

Does the club keep score?
In-house games will not keep a score for any records to save or to turn in to anyone.

Are there referees?
Yes, youth referees ages 13-years-old and up or volunteer adults. Referee duties may also be filled by club trainers and coaches.

What league will our rec team play in?
Santa Fe Youth Soccer in-house league.

Does every player get to play at least 50% of each rec game?
Yes

I currently play on another club’s rec team… Can our whole team join Santa Fe Youth Soccer and keep our team together?
Yes.

Does Santa Fe Youth Soccer offer financial assistance?
Will discuss and evaluate on a case-by-case basis.
